For 2022 the CB500X gained Showa SFF-BP upside-down forks and twin 296 mm front discs with radial calipers, plus a lighter swingarm and front wheel. These chassis upgrades sharpened braking and front-end feel; it was the final version sold as the CB500X before Honda renamed it NX500 for 2024.
